Awesome Peanut Butter Cookies

I've had a request for this recipe so here it is.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1/3 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2cup peanut butter

1 egg

1 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp sugar for coating

1 Tbsp molasses (optional)

Mix butter and sugars together. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add egg (and molasses if using) and then dry ingredients. Roll mixture into balls and roll in sugar to coat. Place on greased cookie sheet. Do Not Flatten! This is what makes them so good. They stay chewy and yummy. Bake at 350*F for 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.

Doug found this recipe and made them for dinner a couple of weeks ago and has since made it at least 2 more times and once with the young men on mutual night. They don't last more than a few hours in our home. Hope you enjoy.
